Overview

Stratium Market Studio is a curated deployer and partnership platform for launching perpetual futures markets on Hyperliquid via HIP-3.

What is Market Studio?

Market Studio enables institutional partners—DeFi protocols, treasuries, liquid funds, market makers, and DAOs—to co-deploy high-quality perpetual markets and earn a share of trading fees in perpetuity.

Rather than an open launchpad model, Market Studio emphasizes disciplined market selection, partnership-driven deployment, and sustainable revenue generation.

How HIP-3 Works

Hyperliquid's HIP-3 allows anyone meeting the staking requirement to deploy perpetual futures markets on HyperCore infrastructure. Deployers receive 50% of all trading fees generated by their markets—forever.

The core requirements:

  • Staking requirement: 500,000 HYPE staked on mainnet

  • Ticker acquisition: Dutch auction for each ticker (first 3 assets per deployer are auction-free)

  • Market operation: Deployers are responsible for oracle configuration, leverage limits, and market parameters

The Market Studio Model

Capital Structure

Stratium handles the full 500k+ HYPE bond for each deployment. Bond capital is primarily sourced from pre-committed private capital, with a public vault providing overflow buffers for overcommitment scenarios.

Partners do not need to source millions in HYPE—they contribute through auction costs and distribution commitment.

Partner Responsibilities

Partners proposing markets through Market Studio:

  1. Propose markets they have conviction in and data to support

  2. Cover the Dutch auction cost for the ticker—this serves as their commitment signal

  3. Drive volume through their own communities, integrations, and incentive programs

  4. Earn lifetime fee share proportional to their contribution

Curation Process

Market Studio deploys based on demand signals, not speculation. We work with established market-making partners who provide proprietary flow data across centralized and decentralized venues. This data informs which markets have real trading interest—either existing or emerging.

Markets are evaluated for:

  • Underlying liquidity and oracle availability

  • Risk parameter feasibility

  • Projected trading demand

  • Partner distribution capacity

Horizontal Scaling

Multiple co-deployers can participate in a single market deployment. Each partner brings their own distribution channels—communities, integrations, incentive programs—compounding liquidity and volume potential across the network.

Distribution Partnerships

Market Studio launches with strategic frontend partnerships to solve cold-start liquidity challenges.

All HIP-3 markets remain accessible on the main Hyperliquid application and any compatible frontend. Distribution partnerships add an incentive layer—they don't restrict access.

Fee Structure

HIP-3 deployers receive 50% of trading fees on their markets. This fee share is fixed at the protocol level.

Through Market Studio, partners earn a portion of this deployer fee share based on their contribution to the market deployment and ongoing volume generation.

Target Partners

Market Studio is designed for entities with:

  • Capital to cover Dutch auction costs

  • Distribution channels to drive sustained trading volume

  • Long-term alignment with market success

  • Conviction in specific assets or market categories

Ideal partners include DeFi protocols seeking hedging markets for their tokens, treasuries looking for yield-generating infrastructure, market makers wanting exposure to emerging assets, and DAOs with community distribution capabilities.
